Editorial principle
We publish original materials, documented public domain works, or materials usable under a licence or authorisation compatible with the service. A link to the source does not replace permission. The free and religious nature of the mission does not eliminate the rights of authors, translators, interpreters, and producers.
Prayers and ancient texts
We do not claim exclusivity over traditional public domain texts. A translation, critical edition, photograph, or recent recording may have distinct protection from the ancient work. The absence of a visible source on a traditional prayer does not automatically extend the public domain to all its editions. New Italian renderings are distinct from official versions.
Sharing and reproduction
You may share the link to the pages. For public domain works, the uses permitted by law remain free; for materials subject to a licence, the relevant terms and any mandatory credits apply. To reproduce original TV Pater content or recordings beyond the permitted limits, write to specifying the material, use, and channel. Logos and trademarks must not be used to suggest a non-existent affiliation.
External materials and images
Not all materials accessible online are freely reusable. Even an image hosted on an external server requires verification of the licence, the rights of the people depicted, and any permission for remote linking. The licences of image platforms do not automatically equate to public domain.
Reporting a right
If you believe that content infringes a right of yours, write to with the URL, the work concerned, ownership or standing, and the reason for the request. There is no need to make personal documents public. We assess the report, may suspend the content on a precautionary basis, and may request useful elements. Any republication requires sufficient evidence regarding the rights; a precautionary removal is not an automatic admission of infringement.
