TV PATER LIMITED · ICO registration: ZA899881
1. Controller and scope
The data controller is TV PATER LIMITED, a company registered in England and Wales, number 10179561, with its registered office at 41 Mount Road, Birkenhead, CH42 6PN, United Kingdom. For privacy matters and the exercise of your rights, please write to or to the registered office, quoting “Privacy Radio TV Pater”.
This notice concerns radiotvpater.com, its mobile pages and the web services described herein. The UK GDPR, the Data Protection Act 2018 and the PECR apply; for processing subject to European law, the EU GDPR and national rules on electronic communications also apply. For native iOS and Android processing, please consult the app privacy notice. You do not need to create an account to read, search or listen.
2. Browsing, security and search
Connecting to the site involves the processing of your IP address, date and time, requested URL, browser and operating system data, and response information. This is necessary to deliver pages, maintain the service and prevent abuse. The site is built and hosted using Sites/OpenAI and Cloudflare infrastructure, including content delivery, traffic protection and databases.
Processing strictly necessary for the provision and security of the service is based on our legitimate interest in providing a reliable and secure service (Art. 6(1)(f)); obligations imposed by law are based on Art. 6(1)(c). Technologies essential to communication or the requested function are not subject to consent for optional services.
Search terms are used to query the TV Pater catalogue. They are not sent to an external search engine. When a search is present in the page address, it may appear in technical requests and the associated logs. We do not use search data to assign you a faith profile or to make automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.
3. Radio and audio
Radio streaming is requested when you press Play. The browser connects to RadioKing, via play.radioking.io, transmitting the IP address and the technical data necessary for the connection and playback. The player remains active during navigation until you pause it or close the service. The provision of the requested audio is distinct from advertising and tracking.
The site periodically updates the title and information of the live broadcast through its own interface, even before Play; this operation does not start the audio. The stream and infrastructure may generate technical data and operational statistics of the provider. The legitimate interest concerns the distribution, reliability and security of the service; it does not automatically authorise non-exempt analytical technologies on the device. You can also listen by refusing external multimedia content and Donorbox.
The directory of Catholic radio stations may link to the official players of independent broadcasters and, when we have a public and verified audio URL, start the stream directly in the browser upon user request. In this case, the device connects to the broadcaster's or its provider's server and communicates the technical data necessary for playback, including the IP address. Radio TV Pater does not control the technologies of external sites or players, and presence in the directory does not imply affiliation or sponsorship.
4. Accessibility and cookie choices
Accessibility settings are saved only when you request a customisation, to remember it in subsequent visits. You can delete them using “Reset all”. Details, durations and activatable services are indicated in the cookie and similar technologies policy.
5. Video and optional external services
Before consent, we do not embed YouTube videos or the Donorbox form. You can authorise them separately from the banner, preferences, or the command near the content. Consent to loading, Art. 6(1)(a), concerns the connection and the optional technologies described for that service. It is not a general authorisation for advertising, marketing, or transfers without safeguards.
YouTube is a Google service and receives technical data and information about video usage. We use the youtube-nocookie.com embedding address; this mode does not mean the absence of processing. You can choose the external link instead of the embedding. The services apply their own privacy notices, referenced in the cookie policy.
Radio TV Pater uses YouTube to make its video content available. Google processes data also for the operation, security, measurement and, according to applicable settings, the personalisation of its services and ads. Purposes, legal bases, retention, international transfers and methods of exercising rights are described in Google's notice: Google Policy. Account controls are available on Data and Privacy.
6. Audio and Spreaker podcasts
The app makes available audio and podcasts hosted on Spreaker. When the device requests an audio file from Spreaker's servers, the service receives the IP address and the technical information of the request. This also happens when a podcast is distributed through an RSS feed and played by a player other than Spreaker's.
Spreaker states that it uses request data for content distribution, listening statistics, counting distinct visits and fraud prevention; it also describes uses of the IP for the geographical location of advertising. These processes are distinct from GoodBarber's internal statistics. The provider's information on processing, retention, transfers and rights is available on Spreaker Privacy and Information Security and Policies.
Preferences saved on Radio TV Pater's web pages concern the components managed by those pages and do not automatically extend to services opened separately or to the app's native integrations. Reading this notice does not constitute consent to processing for which the law requires a specific choice.
7. Donations
When you make a donation, TV Pater receives through Donorbox the data necessary to manage the support: the name and email provided, amount, currency, date, frequency, status, and transaction reference, as well as any summary data and message you choose to send. Full card numbers and security codes are handled by the payment services, not by this site’s database.
Management of the donation and recurrence: Art. 6(1)(b), when necessary for the performance of the requested operation; accounting and tax obligations: Art. 6(1)(c); assistance, abuse prevention, and protection of rights: Art. 6(1)(f), within the necessary limits. Consent to the widget is distinct from these legal bases. We do not publish the supporter’s name and do not subscribe them to promotional communications solely for having donated. We do not ask for a declaration of faith; please avoid health information or information about other persons in optional messages.
Donorbox acts on our behalf in managing the data of the collection and for its own purposes described in its notice. Stripe, PayPal, and other enabled processors carry out their respective payment and security activities. Read the donation terms.
8. Contacts
If you write to , we process your address, content, and attachments to respond. The legal basis is the legitimate interest in managing correspondence or, where relevant, the performance of a pre-contractual or contractual request. Sending an email does not subscribe you to a newsletter. The email link opens your mail program and does not send a message on its own.
Do not send passwords, full card numbers, unrequested documents, or sensitive data of third parties.
The Suggest a radio station form collects contact data and information about the broadcaster to verify proposals, corrections, and updates. The specific processing is described in the Radio reporting privacy notice. No proposal is published automatically, and the reporter’s contact details do not appear on the public profile.
9. Proof of privacy choices
When you express a choice, we record the server date and time, categories authorised or refused, any withdrawal, the origin of the command (banner, preferences, or content request), the version of the text, the receipt, and a random browser reference. We do not include in the register the name, email, IP address, search content, or pages visited. The reference serves only to link subsequent choices from the same browser.
The legal basis for the register is the fulfilment of the obligations of proof of consent and accountability, Arts. 5(2) and 7(1) GDPR and Art. 6(1)(c); the refusal is retained to respect the choice. Access is reserved for the authorised administrator. Receipts are not audience statistics. You can read the reference in “Privacy Preferences”. If you delete browser data, we may not be able to link an old receipt to your request without that reference.
10. Retention periods
- Choice cookies: 180 days from the choice, unless deleted or a new choice is made.
- Receipts in the register: 365 days from each event. Upon expiry, they are excluded from consultation and export; physical removal occurs at the next operation on the register. Standard texts of notices, devoid of user data, remain in the editions archive.
- Accessibility: 180 days from the last modification, with removal at the next visit, or earlier by resetting the settings.
- Correspondence: to manage and close the request; any parts necessary for a collaboration, an accounting obligation or a dispute follow the duration of that relationship or obligation. We do not retain ordinary correspondence for marketing.
- Accounting documents for support: six years from the end of the financial year to which they refer, with the extensions provided for tax checks and other applicable obligations.
- Provider technical data: according to the cycles of the hosting, security or streaming service. The duration of the Cloudflare cookie is not the duration of the logs; we do not apply to the site's logs the one-year term communicated by GoodBarber for the app.
In case of an actual dispute, we separately retain only the necessary elements until its resolution and any further applicable terms. Backup copies follow the infrastructure cycles, with limited access; a restoration does not authorise the reuse of expired data.
Radio reports: contact data and case until 180 days from submission, unless earlier deletion or a limited and documented necessity connected to obligations or rights protection. Verified and published public data of the broadcaster are managed separately as editorial content.
Technical video reports: until 180 days from submission, unless earlier deletion. We do not require name or email; the optional text must not contain unnecessary personal data.
11. Recipients and international transfers
Recipients include the technical providers Sites/OpenAI and Cloudflare, RadioKing for streaming, Google/YouTube when you authorise video, Donorbox and payment processors when you use the form, the postal service for correspondence, and professionals engaged for accounting or rights protection, limited to their specific task. The record of choices is not public. We do not sell this data and do not transfer it for advertising campaigns of other projects.
TV Pater operates in the United Kingdom. The networks and providers mentioned may process data in the European Economic Area and the United States; the location of a server does not exclude support access from other countries. Transfers subject to restrictions require an applicable adequacy decision or safeguards under Chapter V of the GDPR, including the EU standard contractual clauses and, for UK flows, the relevant UK instruments. Consent to the banner does not replace such safeguards.
The Cloudflare DPA and the OpenAI DPA describe their respective contractual mechanisms, where applicable to the service. For information on the recipients of your processing and to obtain a copy or indication of the relevant safeguards, write to ; we protect the confidential data of other persons in our response.
For protected forms, Cloudflare Turnstile processes the technical signals necessary for abuse prevention. If you start the stream of an independent broadcaster from the directory, the relevant server or provider receives the technical data necessary for the connection.
12. Minors and freedom of use
Content can be consulted without providing a name or contact details. Support is intended for adults. We do not ask minors to send us personal data or information about their family. A parent or guardian can contact us to report data sent by a minor. Refusing optional options does not prevent access to reading and radio.
13. Your rights
You may request access to and a copy of your data, rectification, erasure, restriction and, where provided for, portability. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal. For processing based on legitimate interest, you may object for reasons related to your particular situation; for direct marketing, objection does not require justification.
Write to . Provide only the references useful to identify the request: donation email, or cookie choice receipt. We do not systematically request identity documents; any verification must be proportionate. We do not collect new identifiers solely to identify who is browsing. We respond as a rule within one month, with any extensions permitted by law communicated and justified.
You may lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) and, in the EU, with the competent authority, in particular in the country of your habitual residence, place of work, or alleged infringement; in Italy, with the Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali). You do not have to waive these rights to use the service.
14. Representative in the European Union
The following section is reserved for the contact details of the representative in the European Union provided for by Article 27 GDPR. The representative is a point of contact for data subjects and European authorities; TV PATER LIMITED remains the data controller.

Editorial profiles and technical reports from the Videoteca
The Videoteca organises published content also through pages dedicated to the people mentioned in the videos. For these profiles, we use names, roles and brief biographical information taken from public and authoritative sources, for editorial, documentary and archive organisation purposes. When a person is living, we limit the profile to information relevant to the content and their public or professional activity. The legal basis for ordinary personal data is our legitimate interest in the correct organisation and editorial presentation of content, balanced with the person's rights and freedom of information. A data subject can request correction, updating or assessment of removal by writing to .
The 'Report a problem' command present in the videos allows you to send the type of problem and a brief optional text without asking for a name or email. The report is used exclusively to check availability, links, analytics or editorial correctness of the content. Do not enter personal or sensitive data of yours or third parties in the free text field. Reports are protected with Cloudflare Turnstile and rate limits and are stored for a maximum of 180 days, unless deleted earlier.
15. Updates
Date and edition identify the applicable text; the site displays the current document. We keep previous copies in the private archive to document the information associated with the choices collected. For new services or purposes that require consent, a new choice is requested before activation. Reading this notice or continuing to browse does not equate to accepting all options.
7. Contacts
If you write to , we process your address, content and attachments to respond. The legal basis is legitimate interest in managing correspondence or, where relevant, the performance of a pre-contractual or contractual request. Sending an email does not subscribe you to a newsletter. The email link opens your mail program and does not send a message on its own.
Do not send passwords, full card numbers, unrequested documents, or sensitive data of third parties.
You can also use the Contact Us form: name, email, reason, message and confirmations are stored in the site’s private inbox for a maximum of 90 days, without publication. Submission does not activate a newsletter. Consent for the message and explicit consent for any prayer requests are separate from cookie choices. The form uses Cloudflare Turnstile, rate limits and server checks against abuse: details in the contact privacy policy.
The Suggest a radio station form collects contact details and information about the broadcaster to verify proposals, corrections and updates. The specific processing is described in the Radio reporting privacy policy. No proposal is published automatically and the reporter’s contact details do not appear on the public profile.
Sharing via WhatsApp, Telegram, email and device
The sharing commands allow you to open WhatsApp, Telegram, your email program or the device's share menu. The site prepares the title and the public link of the page: the chosen service opens only when you request it. We do not load social widgets to display these commands. Upon opening, the provider may receive technical data and the prepared text or link; sending to the recipient requires your confirmation within the service. We do not access your address book nor do we know the recipient you choose.
Consult the privacy policies of WhatsApp (for the European Economic Area: EEA privacy policy) and Telegram. For email and other apps selected from the device menu, the respective provider's privacy policy applies. 'Copy link' writes the link to the device clipboard, without sending it to WhatsApp or Telegram.
Donorbox form and anti-spam checks
The Contact Us form and the 'Suggest a radio station' form use Cloudflare Turnstile, rate limits and server-side checks to prevent automated submissions and abuse. Cloudflare may process IP address, browser information and technical signals necessary for verification; the token is validated by the server and is not used by TV Pater for advertising profiling or audience statistics. Details in the contact privacy policy and the radio reporting privacy policy.
The external Donorbox form has its own anti-fraud protections and may use reCAPTCHA, hCaptcha or other checks when loaded after the relevant authorisation. The actual technologies depend on the provider's configuration. Privacy policies: Cloudflare, Donorbox, Google and hCaptcha.
How to modify or revoke choices
To modify or revoke consent, open 'Modify or revoke consent' in the footer, or 'Privacy preferences'. In the panel, you can deactivate a category and press 'Save selection', or use 'Revoke all optional consents'. You can continue to read and listen to the radio. The revocation applies to this browser and domain; it does not cancel recurring donations, does not delete data already received from third parties and does not modify the app's native settings.
Chapels and virtual candles
The site includes free chapels with persistent virtual candles. To light a candle, we do not ask for an email address: we process name or pseudonym, chapel, candle type, any thought, receipt of consent and technical data necessary for the session and abuse prevention. This data may reveal religious beliefs and the form requires explicit consent. The candle appears immediately in the browser that created it; visibility to other visitors depends on moderation. The technical cookie pater_candles allows you to manage candles from that browser and may last up to 400 days. Candles do not have an automatic expiry and remain until deleted by the user or the administrator. Read the candle privacy policy and the chapel terms.
Radio widgets and technical data
Embeddable widgets are Radio TV Pater pages, including when displayed on another website. Loading them sends the IP address, date and time, requested URL and browser information to our Cloudflare infrastructure for delivery and security. The widget code contains no analytics or advertising pixels and does not create a listener database; Cloudflare security cookies may be used. The absence of advertising tracking does not mean that no technical data is processed.
Widgets and radio profiles use the Radio TV Pater audio player. Audio is not preloaded: only when you press Play does the browser request the current configuration from the website and connect directly to the broadcaster’s server or its provider. Radio TV Pater uses RadioKing. The audio server receives IP addresses and connection data. Listening alone is not a cookie choice and is not recorded as consent. We do not embed the DOMRADIO web player.
Any receipts already collected for the retired external integration retain their original text and 365-day expiry, without new records or reconstruction. They contain no name, email address, IP address or embedding website. Retaining evidence is distinct from loading the service and follows applicable accountability and evidence requirements.
Privacy choices on the website embedding the widget are separate: we do not read them or treat them as permission for our services. That website’s operator must also describe its own integration. See the cookies and services policy for details of the technologies.
Privacy requests, erasure and the GDPR register
To request access, correction, erasure, restriction, objection, portability or make a complaint, use Privacy requests and erasure or write to . This form is optional. Provide relevant references, such as the email used for a message, a submission or candle reference, or a privacy-choice receipt. Merely visiting or listening does not create an identified user profile to search.
We use your email, message, references, dates, status and handling notes to manage the request and our duties concerning individual rights (GDPR Article 6(1)(c)), with restricted access. Marketing or optional cookie consent is not required. Turnstile and rate limits protect submissions; do not send identity documents, diagnoses or unnecessary third-party information. Submission neither proves identity nor automatically erases data: verification is proportionate to the request.
Cases remain in the register while handled and for 365 days after closure; any further legal retention need is documented separately. Minimal erasure logs keep the record reference, system, case, date and operator for 365 days, without a copy of erased text or email. Mailboxes, suppliers, accounting duties and backups are assessed separately. Rights requests normally receive a response within one calendar month under the applicable rules; the UK 30-day complaint deadline concerns acknowledgement, followed by investigation and a response without undue delay.
The restricted EU representative area retains designation details, mandates and signature evidence for the appointment and documented legal needs, with review of necessity. Evidence links the final text and its SHA-256 digest with name, email, authentication, acceptance and date. A simple electronic signature is not described as qualified. The restricted verification report is excluded from the representative’s pack.
Directory of Catholic sites and reports
The directory distinguishes between external sites, editorial reviews, and historical resources. Entries may be updated, withdrawn, or corrected following verification. Submitting a report is voluntary, does not guarantee publication, and does not require a backlink to Radio TV Pater.
When you submit a proposal or correction via the form, we collect the contact details and information necessary for editorial verification, along with a specific notice regarding retention and recipients. Read the report privacy notice or open the public form.
