1. Controller and scope
The controller is TV PATER LIMITED, a company registered in England and Wales, number 10179561, with its registered office at 41 Mount Road, Birkenhead, CH42 6PN, United Kingdom. For data protection, write to . This notice concerns the Suggest a radio station form and supplements the Site Privacy.
2. Data collected
We collect the reporter's first and last name, email address, role in relation to the broadcaster, optional notes, and the confirmations recorded in the form, including the version of the texts and the date of submission. We also collect data regarding the radio you choose to communicate: name, call sign or identifier, year of foundation, owner or publishing body, diocese or reference institute, country, language, area, type, network or family, slogan, description, website, listening page, any direct stream, schedule, app, logo, official email and phone, headquarters, Facebook, Instagram and YouTube links, official source, frequencies, distribution methods, and topics.
The form also processes technical data necessary for security and abuse prevention. We do not ask for identity documents, payment data, or special categories of personal data: do not include them in the notes. The broadcaster's contact details must be public or provided by someone entitled to supply them.
3. Purposes and legal basis
We use contact data to receive the proposal, verify its origin and reliability, request any clarifications, prevent fraudulent reports, and document the editorial review. For these activities, we rely on our legitimate interest in maintaining an accurate, secure, and transparent directory, under Article 6(1)(f) UK GDPR and, where applicable, EU GDPR. We assess the necessity and impact on the reporter's rights; you can object for reasons connected to your situation.
The checkbox with which you confirm that you have read this notice documents that the information was presented to you: it is not used as general consent to processing. The acceptance of the reporting terms and the confirmation of accuracy serve instead to regulate and document the submission.
4. Verification and publication
Submission does not automatically publish the radio and does not guarantee inclusion. The editorial team checks official sources, identity, links, and technical data, and can correct, supplement, summarise, or reject the proposal. The reporter's name, email, and role are not published in the broadcaster's profile.
Factual data and links relating to the radio can, after independent verification, be used to create or update a public profile in the directory. The public profile is editorial content distinct from the report and can be maintained even after the deletion of contact data, when the information about the broadcaster remains legitimately publishable.
5. Security, Turnstile, and recipients
The form uses Cloudflare Turnstile, an anti-spam field not intended for completion, and rate limits to distinguish legitimate submissions from abuse. Cloudflare may receive the IP address, browser information, and other technical signals necessary for verification. The token is checked by the server and is not used by TV Pater for advertising profiling or audience measurement.
Reports are stored in the Cloudflare D1 infrastructure and can only be viewed by persons authorised for editorial and technical verification. A service message may be sent to the editorial team's internal contact without copying the entire content of the report into the email. For providers, international transfers, and general measures, consult the Site Privacy.
6. Retention
The report, including contact details, is stored in the database for a maximum of 180 days from submission, unless deleted earlier or unless there is a documented need to retain limited items for a dispute, a legal obligation, or the protection of rights. Expired items are removed during subsequent service cleanup operations. The public data of the broadcaster, once verified and entered into the directory, is managed separately as editorial content.
7. Rights and complaints
You may request access, rectification, erasure, or restriction of your personal data and, where applicable, object to processing based on legitimate interest. Write to , including the report reference if available. You may lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner’s Office and, where applicable, with the competent supervisory authority in the European Union.
We do not take decisions based solely on automated processing that produce legal effects or similarly significant effects on the reporter. Anti-spam controls may prevent a submission; in such cases, you can contact us through the Contact Us page.
8. Adults and third-party data
The form is reserved for persons aged 18 or over. Do not enter private personal data of broadcasters, priests, employees, or other individuals: use only contact details and information already published by the broadcaster or data that you are entitled to communicate to us. Do not declare yourself to be a manager or official representative if you are not.
